and this is no different but DAMN Breaking Bad is one outstanding show, bordering on the best show ever. I’m going through season one right now and will occupy myself with this for months. Does it get better or worse as the seasons progress?
PS - rooting for a meth dealer is an entirely new thing for me.
It gets better. I had to convince my wife to keep watching, she wasn’t feeling it at all after the first few episodes and it ended up being her favorite series ever.
Am I the only person (well beside my wife) that didnt really like it?
Got well into season 2 before we gave up. Maybe we should have gave it a bit more time?[/quote
Same, and almost exactly the same scenario - liked season 1, then couldn’t muster enough interest to make it through season 2.
Watched the finale (complete with an ending song by a previously forgotten hometown band!) which did pique my curiosity as to what I’d missed in the intervening seasons.
My wife and I watched season 1 and part of season 2 and then stopped for a while. I don’t remember why we went back to it but I’m sure glad we did because it was freaking awesome.
This was me about 7 weeks ago…burned through the series in about a month, and loved it. There is something to be said about watching a show like this in this manner—the near binge-watching, or simply being able to progress from one season to the next at a moment’s notice as opposed to having to wait in real time for the new episodes.

Yeah, I’m doing the same with my girlfriend, we just finished season 1. Up to episode 4 or thereabouts it was slow going, laying the character and plot groundwork that helps make it such an amazing show. I think Tuco’s introduction is the jumping off point for the show where it really takes off and it truly gets better and better. I honestly can’t wait for the rest of the show, it’s easily my all-time favorite and the way the ended it makes it a rarity where it wrapped everything up in amazing fashion and also left you satisfied with how it ended.
