Heard this story on the radio and their report was good for a laugh.
Cliffs notes: Homeless man living with ex-marine and wife. Wife sleeps with homeless guy, then they have a three-some, wife starts to favor the homeless guy, husband/marine gets pissed, homeless guy brings spoonfuls of hamburger meat to the bathroom while wife was bathing…twice, tells husband to stop wasting food, marine beats homeless guys ass.
Good gesture on the homeless guy’s part to have them “taste-test” the meat while wife was in the bathtub?
Dude served a 3 year stint (02-05), and claims he was honorably discharged, something is not right, there’s more to his discharge than he’s letting on. The Marine Corps doesn’t do 3 year first enlistments. Something tells me this dude was administratively separated, general under honorable conditions.

He apparently has bi-polar disorder, I’m sure that has something to do with it. As does the statement “I am a marine…when someone challenges me I go into kill mode.” While I am not military, I am sure there is some degree of restraint and control required to prevent defaulting to “kill mode” at every single confrontation, especially when not in a combat zone. Something is not right with him.
I still think its hysterical that the homeless guy was bringing spoonfuls of hamburger meat for them to try, in the bathroom, and then getting pissy for him wasting food every time he threw the meat in the tub. The audacity!

While 5-2 = 3, there are actually 4 full years in that time frame; 02, 03, 04, 05. So, it is possible that he served 4 years between 02 and 05.
