We are reaching the anti-Obama thread levels of election time.
It is old old old. We get it. You think he sucks. You think his policy sucks. You think his appointees suck. You think he is a socialist. You think he will take away our guns. You think he wants to kill babies. You blame him for the stock market.
Before you say there is a lot of anti-Republican threads, look again. Those opinions are buried in the anti-Obama threads. Look at the ratio. It is crazy. Even looking at the subject lines is tiring.
I propose one master thread daily that all bitching and moaning is posted on so those who love to complaine about him can go at it. The rest of us can talk about something else.
This isn’t to discourage all government policy threads, just the ones that are started to share their hate our President and are convinced the world will cease to exist if he remains President. There are good conversations going on that are independant of our President and they should be encouraged.
I’d venture to say that even some of the Republicans on this forum are sick of it.
Why are you reading/responding to those threads? You can’t possibly take anyone seriously if they are posting Obama stinks after only 6+ weeks in office, can you? And you can seriously imagine anyone being happy about McCain and Palin winning besides themselves and Rush?
I’m not reading all of them, in fact hardly any. The bashing sneaks into threads everywhere though. The volume is what is killing me.
And no, there are several people on here I don’t take seriously and will only read them if I can’t wait to see what insanity they are coming up with today.

Although I could do without the “Obama Stinks” part, I think it’s pretty easy to make some statements about his policy. Bad policy is abd policy is it not? Don’t need to wait to find it out.
You may have a point. However, I didn’t see anybody suggesting this when we were seeing 42 anti Sarah Palin threads an hour back in August and September.
The scary part for me (and the main reason I’m not here all that much any more) is that some of the people whose intelligence I used to respect here are making snap judgments and drawing faulty conclusions based on little to no evidence whatsoever. I can certainly understand a policy debate on the macro level, but there is very little “thoughtful” debate going on here. Fear and panic have taken over.
I absolutely agree that’s why I said policy discussions are fine and should be encouraged.
People left over the Palin threads. I think that it is an indication that there were plenty of the “I’m sick of this” threads. In fact I started a couple random threads in an attempt to start new conversations.

And during the course of our History (as Humans) what has ever given you the idea that intelligent people were always making smart decisions, and that fear didn’t push us to do stupid things?

I can understand a disagreement with the direction Obama is going but how many threads does it take to same the same thing? After you said you don't like his direction once why keep repeating the same tired complaints? We get it. He's too liberal for you. OK. Next upbeat topic please.
The problem as I see it is that I don’t think people are seeing everything he’s implementing and how. I think you could spend 100 threads on the proposed changes in the budget alone and how the changes are good/bad.
He’s definitely giving change, IMHO, and in the opinion of others apparently, not good change.

you are incorrect.
within the next 3 days, i will personally make 7 threads attesting to this fact.
