If we eliminate all the “fast guys” from competing because they might win too easily (Steve Larsen Threads) and we eliminate the slow people because they don’t deserve to be there (Worlds qualifying threads), who is left to race? My head hurts just thinking about it.
There will always be new, fast and slow, people to ridicule. That’s why I love this sport.
Support Crew, that would leave just me and TriYoda as we are not fast, but we think we deserve to be there :-). TriYoda, I hope you pass on your Kona slot. Hang on, we are in different age groups, so I don’t have to worry about the Roll down
You are too wise for this board.
Hey Sue,
sorry I missed you in KC this past weekend. I did get to spend some time talking with Joe and finally got a peak at his bike case. Hopefully we’ll see you in Hawaii.
all the best to you.
HAHAHAHAHA
Good one Sue! Can’t wait to see you guys in Kona.

Thank you for making a great point.
See you in Honolulu and Kona!
Chris
don’t forget to eliminate:
the posers because they didn’t ‘earn’ the right to ride that nice bike
the newbies because they get in way of the real competitors
the TnT people because they only cheer for each other
We only want folks in the middle of the bell curve. no one out on the fringes please.
Great thread… nice to have some laughs in here too. All gets much too serious some times.

the newbies because they get in way of the real competitors
Dammit. And I just bought a new bike.
You forgot to mention us lottery winners…we don’t deserve to be there because we didn’t “EARN” the slot either…:-))
Full agreement. We need more of this “outside the box” thinking.
