Would someone pls enlighten me on the timing of signing up for an IM, especially on-site after the event vs on-line?
Is there a pecking order for on-site registration, i.e. finishers from the day before get first choice, then others present and only then on-line?

Seems to be an evolving process but at LP it ended up being all those signing up themselves first , then those signing up others and then the 800 spots that were left online at 1:00

Thanks, I am volunteering at IMMoo, in part to check out the bike course the day before and decide whether to pop my cherry there or at IMFL. Can you tell when the on-site registration opened at LP, I assume I need to stay over until monday.
I think it was supposed to open at 9:00 am on monday but they started registering people early because so many people were there. Certainly the next day.
I think they started the on-site reg around 820. By that time there were hundreds of people in line. Once they started the line moved pretty quickly.
