I got my confirmation this morning and went to complete the registration process from the onsite registration and noticed I needed to get a USAT number. Well I have already been charged $576 for the race and now active wants to charge me another $10 usat license +$27 Activre.com processing fee. WTF???
So it will be over $50 to use active.com for registration? Am I doing something wrong?
I plan on having an annual USAT membership by race day but don’t have one now. To get past the issue of entering my USAT number I entered “willprovidebyraceday” in that field. However, like you and many others, I reached the last page and it wanted me to pay the $26 again so I’m waiting for now.

That just screws up the spread sheet for the RD. If you dont have one just pay.
have you seen the thread about the one-day USAT license charge? do you have any thoughts on that? i would rather fill in something bogus on the form and screw up a spreadsheet so that i don’t end up getting charged twice for a one-day license.
I have no problem paying the $10 fee. the problem I have is the “processing fee” they are charging me AGAIN. I paid this with the original registration fee and the USAT license should be included. In addition the email states that no fees will be required in the final confirmation.
There will not be a payment associated with your registration.
Despite their claims to the contrary, they are trying to charge everyone the double dipped fee regardless of whether or not you have a USAT license. I suspect they are getting a lot of angry emails as and I suspect a ton of other people just sent one. I’m not paying pos Active another dime.
The $26 charge from active is no longer an issue if you registered on site. I just finished mine and had no extra charges.

Unless you are seeing something totally different, $26 of that $36 was the “processing fee” from active that we paid on site. That was the $$ amount that I was referring to. As for the $10 one day USAT license, why not apply today before completing your IMMOO registration. You’ll have a number to input and it will be valid for race day next year…just a suggestion.
