- My perceived “Worlds Worst Taper” due to bad back will turn out to be truly a blessing is disguise as I show up at the start more ersted and ready then I could have dreamed of.
- The slightly cooler temps at night along with a few light showers will drive the water temp to a true wetsuit legal swim.
- Race day temps will be lower than anyone expected and in turn so will the DNF rate.
- The swim current will be barely noticeable in either direction.
- The stories of the killer hills on the bike will turn out in general to be an exageration.
- As we enter the water at 6:30 it will be light enough to read the number on each others swim cap.

- I will have the time of my life, and likely tear up when I finally hear the words… YOU are an Ironman!
See you in Kentucky and good luck too all!
