IM Live losing it

i think the anouncer on IM Live is just acting like the biggest fool right now. Anybody else feel that he’s dorking around???

Where have you been? Welchie has always been one to clown around. I like it. Welchie is also not PC so you never know what he’ll send out for a one liner.

By the way, people are on Yahoo! IM (that’s instant messenger, not Ironman) with Paula and Welchie are screwing around putting in funny requests. They are being cool about it and playing along.

Being serious 100% of the time is borrrrrrrrrrring.

Can anyone get the athlete finder to come up. I click the tab and nothing happens.

  1. It’s Greg Welch you are talking about, perhaps the best all-around multi-sport athlete ever.

  2. This is live, raw coverage. It’s not edited and rather unscripted. Hence the odd mistake and other errors. If you have ever done any kind of work like this you will know how hard it is.

  3. All kinds of people complain that there is no “live” coverage of IM races, well here you have it. It’s not perfect, but it is to a certain degree cutting edge stuff.

  4. There is more that they could do, and I suspect that they are working on this. I have heard talk of more timing mats out on the course to get better specific time up dates. Also getting camera’s out on the cousre that could send footage back through a wireless network. However, all this costs money and since no one watching right now is directly paying for it and their is no direct ad revenue from the live broad cast( something I suspect they are also working on), we have what we have!
