Im going to turn pro next year, and finish each race with at least 5 family members in tow. Opinions

Pro what I don’t know but just kind of in the mood to put something out there.

So really, what other accomplishment, race, or event do people do where they get to bring there family across the finish line with them.

I have not seen any lawyers finishing their cases with the family doing closing arguments, Downhill skiing maybe? Bowling that must be it. syncronised swimming?

100m dash?

So really for 3 miles I can avg 13 min miles. Do I have a shot at making a living as a pro?

I think i need to go to bed.

I got it Patton must of had his family with him at the end of each successful campaign right?

Seriously do marathon finishes have family members running across with them? I don’t know maybe thats where it came from?

BUT if the Detriot Lions make the playoffs, I think the entire city will carry them off the field, and throw them in the river.

I used to be a professional disc golfer so I am qualified to give you some “pro” triathlon advice. Unless you finish over 13 hours it is considered bad etiquette to bring your family in tow. I volunteered at IMLOU and was at the finish line for way too long (3:30 until 12:52-thanks to time trial swim start and my student being the last unofficial finisher they let cross the line) and although it was endearing to watch it a couple of times it got pretty silly. My favorite was when the family couldnt keep up with their 15 hour finisher and got to run across the line all by themselves. Maybe I will try that in race gear next year with a # and all and follow my favorite pro across the line and have a sub 9 hour finish picture.
