I'm changing my screenname

Not that anyone will really care, I’m not a big-time poster on this forum, but the thread on screen names got me to thinking about how boring my screenname is “hollidan”. Not that my new name is so freakin’ original, hell I stole it from a movie. But I am in the Navy and I am a Lieutenant, so might as well go with something that has a little more zip than hollidan, which is just a combination of my first name and the first 4 letters of my last name.

So from henceforth (is that a word?), let it be known that hollidan is now Lieutenant_Dan.

Change it to Ron Mexico. It seems to have worked well for Michael Vick.

“which is just a combination of my first name and the first 4 letters of my last name.” There’s your problem! That would be the first ‘FIVE’ letters of your last name.

Huh…

Scratching my head…Ron Mexico???

quick google search…ooohhhhh oookkaaayyyyyy!!! WTF?

I think I’ll stick with Lieutenant_Dan.

Uh, I was joking.

Oh yeah, oops. Anyway, first 4 letters, first 5 letters, it was still a boring screen name.

Changed mine for a few days to “Doc Greg” but nobody really gave a sh*t so I changed it back.

I realize you were joking. The WTF wasn’t directed toward you. It was a WTF is up with Michael Vick? Guess I really haven’t been paying that much attention to mainstream sports.

My bad, I’m testy today, don’t know why. And, truly, that whole situation is a WTF.

Lieutenant Dan. Run forest, run.

life is like a box of chocolates. you never know what yer gonna get.

Lieutenant Dan! Lieutenant Dan!

“uhh, Jenny, What are you doing?”
.

So from henceforth (is that a word?)
Since you ask, I think you would just say, “So, henceforth…” The “from” idea is already in there.

“That’s not a shrimp! Take your hands out of my pants!”

Chris

So does this mean I should change my tag line? Include a Forrest Gump quote.

“I am not a smart man Jenny. But I know what love is.”

“I was running, running, and running.”

Thanks Monk. Ever catch that show on NPR, don’t know the name of it, but the whole show is on the english language. They talk about word origins, common improper uses of words and catch phrases. Pretty interesting show. I think it’s on the weekends.

Anyway, thanks for the lesson.

Damn lawyer.
