Anybody know if online registration will be available for Canada this year? Anybody on sight have some insight?
Should there be spots available after on-site registration; an announcement will be made in mid-September regarding entry process. We will also announce the number of Ironman Community Fund spots that will be available for Subaru Ironman Canada at that time.
What is the date of the 2010 race? And just to ask a very stupid question, can anyone confirm that under no circumstances there will be online registration today? Thanks.

The statement on their website makes it a little confusing. Not to mention that the info you just cut and pasted is from last year. I believe they had the voucher system in place when that was posted. So they gave people 2 weeks to decide and if they didnt sign up, they put the remaining slots on-line. I dont think that is the case for this year.
That is the current statement on the website. I would expect it to be current, as people are looking to register.

Yup, pretty clear. I love how you folks are convinced that IM has their stuff together. Its like you couldnt even imagine that their website was not correct. It happens frequently that their websites are behind with information. Good thing I kept checking otherwise I would be stuck with no other options.
Can’t believe my luck! Just got a spot for 2010. Never had the chance to register for Canada before it filled up before.
Is the economy taking its toll on the “line up” that there was not enough local interest? I think this is awesome that people from faraway can sign up without having to come to Penticton twice in a year. Gotta let me cousin in W.Aus know, hopefully there will still be room by the time he wakes up!
Dude! Thanks for posting this! I blindly followed the posting on the IMC website and figured it would not open up until “mid-Sept.” I’m in for 2010! Too cool!
