Should I fly to Seattle or Vancouver?

Hey, a question I can answer! Vancouver used to be my old stomping grounds. As for hotels, scenery, etc., I’d say both Seattle and Vancouver are equal in what they have to offer and the price. The Canadian dollar is doing pretty well, so it’s not quite the bargain for Americans as it was a couple of years ago.
However, the other consideration is then getting to Penticton. Lots more flights available through Vancouver, and if you decide to rent a car and drive, lot easier to do it in Canada (a lot of car rental places won’t allow you to go out of country).
I just realized you might be asking how to get to Florida. In that case, I’d recommend going via SEATAC, as a lot more flights available, and almost always cheaper from that side of the border. When I travelled around the US, I’d often drive from Vancouver to Seattle and go from there. A bit more of a hassle, but waaaay cheaper.
