I'm bored at work today

I’m bored today. Really bored. Like nothing to do bored. Somebody say something intersting or update the Hottie Thread. At the rate I’m going I’m going to pour my first Guinness for lunch and then make a sterling impression at the couple-therapy session with my wife we have scheduled for 6 tonight.

This should spice things up for you.

Strip yourself naked and do two laps around the office- I guarantee some excitement afterwards. Plus it will make the therapy session better, you know a conversation starter.

Some research for you to do:

Is it true that St. Louis is the Meth capitol of the USA right now?

I am going with NO, my guess is somewhere in Indiana, maybe Indianapolis.

I heard that Indiana led the nation in meth lab busts.

I think St Louis is the MATH capitol right now.

Maybe you heard it wrong.

I’ve hear from local law enforcement that MO (the areas outside of St Louis particular) IS the meth capitol of the world.

Easy access to several interstates, both I-70 for east-west and I-55 for north-south, and rural areas were contributing factors for this. I think the nations biggest pot bust happened in MO, but I’m fuzzy on the details.

St Louis is also the ghonnorea capitol of the world. Coincidence?

The naked and running thing won’t help much cure the boredom for me today. I’m the only one at my shop and unless I get a customer the effect would be wasted.

I guess I wrong, bet I was close. I can’t beleive I researched how bad my state is.

** Indiana Sets Methamphetamine Standards** INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana child welfare officials have joined lawenforcement officials, health professionals, and others to develop statewide rules to protect and remove children found in homes or other places where methamphetamine is produced. The state’s Drug Endangered Children Advisory Committee issued standards on July 20, which spelled out how safety personnel, child caseworkers, and health professionals should respond to meth lab discoveries and busts. The rules detail how lab sites should be secured, what steps should be taken to protect people inside and how evidence should be handled and secured to ensure safety and successful prosecutions. Officials said Indiana will join about 20 other states sharing resources on lab discoveries and quickly addressing the safety and psychological needs of children. According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Indiana ranked second only to Missouri in the number of meth labs seized in 2004. Indiana State Police reported that police agencies dismantled 1,549 meth labs statewide last year, up nearly 25 percent from 2003. Methamphetamines are causing alarm across the nation, as the number of foster children rises rapidly in states hit hard by the drug. Officials say the overwhelming number of them are taken from parents who are using or making the drug. Oklahoma is among one of the first of many states that have joined the battle against meth.

Looks like someone else is bored at work today too.

Yup, I have been working out of my home this week to be home for my 2 year old son who had surgery on Monday. I usually travel 3-4 days a week and have simply run out of things to do.
