I have a theory about the cause of the irrational hatred toward other people being unsafe.
I think it stems from our evolutionary heritage, where in the past it was critical for the survival of a tribe for all members to be careful. lives were not available for wasting.
So back then it made sense to slap a guy upside the head for taking undue risk.
Today…no so much.

Lemming doesn’t hear car and almost gets hit.
Driver of car who almost hits Lemming gets pissed at bikers.
Driver of car next time doesn’t play it as safe, hits me.
