Staying close to race start, where is the best/safest place to ride? Is it safe to ride the first part of the course.

Beeline is good, but id there can be a lot of debris, They sweep it really well before the race, but there can be burrs and glass. Haven’t been out there in a while, so I don’t know the current status.
