I'll bet these would look kicken on a Kestrel Talon

Just my little tidbit for the day.
These look like they were made for the Talon. For some reason, though, I don’t care for them much on anything else.

I hate to kind of high jack this thread, but, how do you guys convert or make a Talon to a tri geometry bike. I see quite a few talons in tri races and I was checking their geometry and they are 72./73 degree seat angle. How do the Talon owners “get forward?” Do they sell a seat post which adds those extra degrees?

I think they would look great on the original Talon SL which was the nude carbon matte finish with blue stripping which I am assuming is what you meant (Please correct me if not) but not on the painted Talons like the Red, White, Grey-Blue, or the combo RWB special edition. Just my opinion though.

Yes. My talon came with an aluminum aero seatpost with two settings, the forward setting is 76 degrees. Ironically I had my seat in the forward setting until I got fitted and they recommended putting it back, it did help, but its different for everyone. The aluminum seatpost is heavy, but I guess Kestrel came out with a carbon version recently that is much lighter.

Correct, for the most part.
They’d also look nice on the new paint Macca is riding (almost identical to the QR Lucero’s markings.)

There is just something about the way Kestrel did the tubes that seems like they would be a match made in fabrication heaven.

Those would look good as a front on a Pinarello Montello as well…its the swoopy factor…probably better than on my Talon SL…
