I just got an email saying that prices increase on August 15. This is the first year that I won’t do one distance or the other due to scheduling conflict, but it is a great race and I highly recommend it to anyone. If you live within reasonable driving distance, the oly has a beautiful course–no special training required, and there are plenty of activities for the family at Deep Creek Lake.

Got that same email–that’s still my favorite race that I’ve ever done!! If there’s a way you can do it, you owe it to yourself to make it happen (obviously not directed toward OP). Thanks for always being so positive about this race-it reassures me that I’m not alone in my love of it/the venue/etc!
