What a an awesome fun read first thing in the morning. Some of these coments are comedy gold.

Now, our government violently shut down our freedom of speech and right to peacefully assemble, and attempted to excuse their actions by claiming unhealthly living conditions. Foreign governments and their citizens have yet another reason to distrust us.

Since when to your rights usurp mine? That park is private property and the owner has every right to clear you out. The people who work and live around there have a right to be protected from all the malcontents that have taken over. Businesses around there have every right to do business without interference.
But of course nobody’s rights are important except yours. Sorry pal, you don’t get to shred the constitution, and first amendment rights, do no usurp any of the others.

What we are seeing here is the police deploying tactics refined in our occupation of Iraq against our own citizens. This is an unmitigated grab for power against any dissent.

You do have freedom of assembly. But do it on your own damn property or go through the permitting process with the city. You don’t have the right to seize property (ie real estate) whether private or public and claim that your seizure is an extension of your freedom of assembly or speech. Continued occupation of Zucotti Park against the wishes of the owners is deprivation of their property. They shouldn’t have to beg to make you leave.
Your rights end where another person’s rights begin. You don’t get to screw over others just because you happen to have a lot of people with you right now. Take a civics lesson!

Police orders in NYC don’t come from “Corporate America”, they come from NYC Mayor Bloomberg, a liberal and lifelong Democrat.

So the solution to these supposed egregious grievances is to ‘occupy’ city parks, wallow in your own fetid filth & excrement, disrupt businesses, block traffic, and provoke negative police responses…among other things… Consider me the poorest member of the ‘1%’, OWS doesn’t represent me!

If you get a chance, look into the Ludlow Colorado mmassacre. Rockefeller had enough power to get the Colorado National Guard to use machine guns on a campsite used by coal miners on strike. Do you want to go back to those days?

Oh and don’t worry about the scumbag union money, I mean corporate money is bad but when unions take money from their so called brothers, the working class, and give it to the dems so they can make energy more expensive and destroy good paying jobs like drilling for oil that’s all fine and good right!!

Oh, and as far as all the alleged health and safety issues. “Sexual assaults, drug dealing, shootings, etc.”
That’s all a distraction; it’s something to justify our police brutality.
That will never be justifiable.
