Then why didn’t I get a suffer-score of EXTREME when I pissed blood after today’s workout?
Because there’s no way to input the bottle of ibuprofen you took?
Well, at least the first response wasn’t “pics or it didn’t happen”.
You need the special Garmin toilet that can upload a urinalysis.

because eating beets doesn’t count!
Suffering?? Some people pay extra for that kind of action.
So you can put WODs in Strava now?

DCRAINMAKER gave that one a bad review so I won’t buy it.

Indeed, it was full of crap.
So what happened, did you pull something?

10 min of Internet research indicates that it can be caused by dehydration/tiny bladder lacerations due to vigorous exercise.
Workout was a duathlon simulation 5k run/40k ride/10k run. Piss definitely cloudy with blood but it was normal by the afternoon.
Be a little extra careful with the empty bladder the next few weeks. Just like exterior wounds, interior lacerations need some care.
I had it happen multiple times during a marathon build. Most just looked like I was pissing Coke. Once it was more like Cool Aid with obvious clots. My wife took a picture and made me go see a urologist. The only way I got past it was to drink a full glass of water 20 minutes before every run and not go pee for at least 30 minutes before every run. That went against every instinct my bladder has.
You might also want to consider getting things checked. It probably is just what the internet told you, but there is a very small chance you have something more and this was just a warning sign.

Yup - this happened to me once. Went out on a hot July day, somewhat dehydrated, and did 6 miles at tempo pace.
Got back and pissed blood. Internet research indicated it can happen if the bladder rubs on itself.
Didnt happen a second time or I would have gone to a doctor.

How would Strava measure a Crossfit workout?

What? I also have a tiny bladder. Now I’m nervous and will start following the Gatorade Sports Science Center recommendations to avoid dehydration just to be clear (ya know, instead of red)

Straight to a WADA lab? They’re not THAT foolish!
