I just wish I could find an LBS near me that even carried Campy. My LBS stocks ONLY ShimaNO and ShimaNO equipped Treks. I don’t know if I even want to have them work on my Campy.

You should add Scott because they absolutely stole the show at Interbike. Unlike most years when a certain component or bike make big news, this year it was an entire brand.
Scott’s booth was filled to capacity (beyond, really) at all times with dealers begging to carry the line.
Oh yeah, and you can add lots of SRAM mtb stuff too, because nearly every high-end bike form mid to large sized manufacturers had their bikes spec’d with SRAM drivetrains. The road shifters looked really small, but they were behind glass and untouchable. I would hope to see some major mtb line-up changes from Shimano in the next couple of years - someone’s been asleep at the wheel over there.

Now THAT I can agree with Sojourner. Just enough on the floor to accomplish the tasks (fitting, “test riding” (yeah, I know TD hates the concept but some folks need that security blanket ride before plunking down the $$), etc)…I love the LBS I deal with, but mostly for the people there…the store itself drives me to distraction with all the clutter…
