that Baddman is out. She is here, I saw her but, apparently, not doing the race. Source should be good but this is not confirmed. Everyone may have to revise their predictions.
Frank: Can you confirm this for us?
If I can confirm it I will let everyone know.
I mean, what is the internet for if not for proliferating rumors?
Of course Frank! But this is a good one… has been relatively dead for rumors this year in Kona. Was thinking of making some up to break the monotony of reading “Macca’s going nuke them on the bike stories.”
a german sponsor of her was quite surprised about your posting, because she was very confident to win again this year when leaving for Kona.
That is my unconfirmed single second-hand report, and I’m stickin’ with it.
I hope she is healthy and does it. Otherwise, any women who might win it, would find her effort tarnished by her absence. When I saw her she looked happy and healthy and ready to race.
I mean, what is the internet for if not for proliferating rumors?
Amen

“Maccas gonna nuke them on the bike stories”
Are you kidding? I heard that Mark Allen was going to compete and win Hawaii this year, but he got hit by a baseball dropped by a crazy cubs fan.
Well, if she is out of the race, someone should let Triathletemag.com know … this was posted there last night and this morning:

Dennis “who called and asked all his inside sources and got no “firm” answer”.

According to Iron Man live she is fit and ready to rock the Queen K as always…I can’t wait for Saturday - man it is going to be a great day for our sport
.
Driving into town today I saw her out on the bike being followed by a film crew. I only got a brief glimpse and as I didn’t notice who it was until right upon her but as I drove on past I only remember saying to myself two things.
- Well, it looks like she is going to be doing the race and,
- She seemed to me to be less relaxed (or struggling) for what I would have expected for an “easy” ride along Alii drive 2 days before the race.
We will know in less than 48 hours.
