From the Tom Danielson interview on Velonews.com:

"Our new shorts are supposed to save 15 percent of wind drag. "

Now that’s impressive. How’d NIKE do that?

15% of total bike/rider drag (not likely) or 15% of whatever miniscule drag other shorts cause?

They squish your thighs down to an aero profile – 5mm wide when viewed from the front.

At 5’10" 129lbs. I wouldn’t think Danielson would have any wind drag.

So essentially, by wearing these shorts…TD is kind of in a ‘Time Warp’ mode, right?? :wink:

I guess 15% of nothing is Marketing Hype!
