A serious bike wreck which causes a neck brace, bare minimum. Dan needs to immediately hire a risk management adjuster to find out what’s going on and post the following warning in bold: “Before you click that button registering to post on this forum, if you post on Slowtwitch regularly, it will only be a matter of time before a van runs right over you while you are biking, and you write posts about it.”
And the numbers are going up this season. The regular posters are dropping like flies, crashing into and flipping over the tops of vans, into windshields, being eaten and nipped by dogs. At the very least, regular slowtwitch posters are being hounded down and chased off roads by rednecks into ravines.
Rare is the day now, if you click on Slowtwitch forum: when you do not see a thread about someone recovering from a broken back, neck, collarbone, or multiple rib injuries, from a bike wreck. In fact, they aren’t even brushes with death, they are “near death” wrecks.
We have ratcheted up the injury threads from, “just got scraped,” or “had a close call,” to “been a while since I’ve posted, I’ve been in a a coma.”
We have more posters now just sidelined at home, posting away. The poster is now laid up at home now and bringing us updates, fresh from the hospital, maybe even with pictures of rods and shit sticking out of his or her neck. And there will be 2 more injuries tommorrow, starting off with:
“BIKE WRECK. GLAD TO BE ALIVE.”
But, enough of this, the fact is somebody or something is trying to kill all of us, with Vans, and its time we got to the bottom of this and find out who is doing it and why.
