I googled it not long ago, and found some companies that do all types of helmets, from motorcycles to cycling, to hockey goalies. The only problem was the cheapest that I found it for is about 2-3 times what the helmets worth. I just figured it wasnt worth it, esp if you crash, then its garbage anyway.

Darin Wheeler just did mine and it’s amazing. He did Bjorn Andersons also. You can check out my new lid and Bjorns on his websight. Can’t recommend him highly enough. He knows exactly how to handle flexable plastic, preparation, finish…consumate pro and he was quick.

If you just want something basic (solid colors), your local sign shop should be able to take care of it, cheaper than shipping, custom paint etc.
Hey, thanks for doing that. Glad you like it. I pretty much told him we use the Rampant Lion for our business logo and have at it. This was $300 and for an artist w/his credentials I really thought that was reasonable. I would defiantely recommend using someone that knows what he/she is doing w/ this surface as he really is pro’s pro. He mixes something w/ the paint so even if the surface bends the paint stays put and doesn’t chip. He has a protective coating that is also special in some way that is important and I’ve totally forgotten now. Now I’m trying to think of something fun for him to do to my disc! All kinds of fun surface area for him to work with there.
Very nice. I still like the good old red bull look though… I can’t go full aero with the Florida summer heat…
