Reading that S bend article was pretty interesting. I hate to admit it, but I still have Scott RCOs on my tribike. I am blushing at the thought that they were put in such a historical context in Dan’s article. I must really be a retrogrouch. My most loved feature of these, other than the “S” bend (I never came up with a word for it) was the flip up pads, absent in most new aerobars. I would hate to not have this feature. It is really great being able to get them out of the way. Even better, they didn’t ruin the feature like profile who decided having them automatically flip up was a good idea. Good to see these aerobars haven’t been completely forgotten.
