Let me introduce myself… My name is Matt West and I am new to this TRI community. I have been racing for a few years, and have really enjoyed all the support and help along the way.
I purchased a felt s-22 with zip 909’s and in my opinion; it has been one of the baddest bikes to hit the SE Michigan Tri Circuit. I purchased most of my equipment from Tom Demerly, and would recommend anyone to his store.
My problem: My dad needs a Tri Bike and shoes and is looking to spend about ($1500). I would love it if he could by a Felt s-32 or perhaps something equal. He is about 6’1", 220 lbs, 88 cm from seat to pedals, and has been sized for a 57CM bike. It seems that no one has anything for his size right now. He has visited a few shops in Toledo with no luck.
Tom, if you read this, I would love for you to sell him a Bike… (He is the guy who made your blimp)… Or if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I do understand that purchasing a bike is a process and that every effort needs to go into making the machine fit the person, however; My Dad is a type A and wants something for the A2 tri.
I look forward to seeing Tom D., Eric F., Todd Briggs, and anyone else local at the A2 race… You Guys inspire me!
