I made the newspaper

The OC Register contacted me last week about doing an article on my training and the charity:

.

Congrats.

From the article: “The feat requires months of training, a strict diet and endless determination.”

Oh, I get it…a diet of some kind…that’s what I’ve been missing all along. Seriously, I don’t know how you guys in CA, NV and AZ stay focused on any kind of diet when In-N-Out Burger is on every street corner.

whats so hard? I just drive by them and do not stop.

Dave

Congratulations and way to go doing something for others! It seems this sport can occasionally get self-centered, its great to see people giving back.

From the Article:
“To be considered an Iron Man, competitors must finish a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and a 26.2-mile run in less than 17 hours.”
-Guess that settles all the arguments about who qualifies as an Iron Man (Ironman), although it does say they must “run”…

oooh nice. Last summer this guy came from Minnesota to join the research lab that I’m in, we by accident figured out we were both triathletes. He got introduced to in-n-out and needless to say he said that it was one of the things he missed the most after he went back to minnesota.
