I Like Raquel!

Bang, bang
.

Assume you mean Raquel Welch in those commercials during the Clearwater coverage? She sure looks great for a gal that’s got to be near seventy. My grandma never looked like that. She was every teenage boy wet dream back when I was in high school, and that was a long time ago.

Do you think Raquels grandkids think she’s hott? Perhaps your friends thought your g’ma was hott. Do you have any pics of grams, we’ll be honest.

And yeah, I did watch her commercial, fast forwarded the rest though.

I hear you. When I was 25 there was about a 10 year “hot/doable” window, (20-30yrs old).
Now that I’m a bit older I think its about a 50 yr. window. I’m going to take a nap now…NOT!!!

She was “the” Hollywood sex symbol in the late 60’s when I was in high school. As a teenager, I sure thought she was hot.

I think you got about 8-10 yrs on me.

That’s about the same amount Raquel has on me. Couldn’t imagine being attracted to a women that much older now.

Looked it up. She was born Sept 5, 1940. That makes her 69 yrs old this year.

Very nice!

I’ve never critiqued anybody’s position before but I think hers is just fine. Her seat is not too high!

She’s one fine looking cougar, and stll looks “natural” for a Hollywood lady of her age. But did we need to see that ad every commercial break? I swear it was on twice in some breaks.

“How bout you fuzzy britches… just up-and-vanished like a fart in the wind!”

I’m sure her plastic surgeon lives quite comfortably!

She was accused of plastic surgery back in the 70’s when she was still in her 30’s. Raquel was the original prototype boob job which was a big deal back then since the technology was new. Just look at her face in the Clearwater commercial. Only Micheal Jackson or Joan Rivers can claim more face lifts.

… Just look at her face in the Clearwater commercial. …

She was in a million commercials during the telecast. You would think that Foster Grants would have more than one commercial in their portfolio.

They must be going after the baby boomer market.

Had the honor of eating dinner with her a little over a year ago. One of the nicest people I’ve ever met, we went to a hamburger and french fry place in the Biltmore Area of Phoenix. She ate salad, looks like she could be forty but I think she’s seventy. My friend Robert is friends with her, so the three of us went out. Her sister showed up later and she was super cool too. She talked a lot about the La Jolla lifestyle being the perfect way to spend life. She credits daily yoga for keeping her young, she told me she did it long before it was “cool”. She also said she is really into bike riding, which I found interesting. When I told my dad about my evening (he’s 65) he seemed really impressed… cheers, Lewis

Wow, 70? No!

So, what is the La Jolla lifestyle?

I assume its in reference to the beach town in Orange County, California.

Oh ok, I assumed it was a reference to something more specific like the South Beach diet isn’t just food people eat in said town.
