I’m used to the spam on my email, but this one just showed up as a text message, showing up as “from” an email address.
This could be bad. I’m a huge fan of text messages, not so huge on getting spammed on my cell.
Anyone else have this experience? Any success in fighting it?

California just outlawed a practice where marketers could track the RFID on your cell phone and call you just as you were passing a Starbucks to let you know what the special was that day.
How freakin annoying would that be.
I have gotten a couple of these, the at the end of the first one I was instructed to text back some message to “unsubscribe” from future messages. I was pissed on a couple of levels, first I didnt subscribe to them and have no idea how they got my phone #, second they are wasting my money by sending me this crap, third they are making me waste my money by sending back a text message back to them. The other 2 messages I got didnt have anything about unsubscribing, but considering the frequency I get these things (i think 3 total in the last 3 years) I guess it isnt that big of a deal.
