I rode the nose of the saddle on my left side pubic bone for years and since I don’t go long, just lived with it. I could stand it for an hour.
Then I tried the bisaddle and initially it was not good. I wanted a saddle that would effectively let me ride the nose but support both sides of the pubic bone. The bisaddle nose does not do this because it is soft. Then I realized I was not riding the saddle the way it was intended. I adjusted it some more and voila! magic! Basically the bisaddle allows you to create a center channel wide enough to rest your pelvic bones on the back of the saddle while rotated forward so that your pubic bones are also supported. Now, you have to be able to tolerate a bit of thigh rub, which does not bother me. It could someone else.
My model is the highest cushioned version, the Bonneville. I bought a different one initially and it was just not padded enough for longer climbs. I talked to Bisaddle and they sent me the Bonneville and told me to use it and if I preferred it, just send back the other pieces. I use the bisaddle on my gravel bikes with aerobars and I can ride it forever aero if need be (I seem to get caught by myself in most every race and ride solo).
Alternatively, I also took an old ISM and used a bolt, nuts and washers to force the arms of the saddle far enough apart to allow me to nose ride it on both sides of my reproductive parts and that is what I ride for tri now. I can see what ISM was trying to do with their saddle, but to me the center channel is not wide enough. So I made it wider.
