I have determined that I actually do NEED a gun

I showed up at the biathlon range with a bunch of other weaponry and the marshals were all over my ass. Sticks, hammers, screwdrivers, alarms, knives, arrows, axes and chainsaws aren’t allowed to be thrown at the targets. They even took away my slingshot. Mace/pepper spray got in my fellow competitor’s eyes, and I was penalized for “unsportsmanlike conduct”. Calling the police got me laughed at the first time, and threatened with jail time for wasting a Peace Officer’s time on subsequent calls.

Nope - I definitely need a gun.

you will put your eye out with a gun!

I call bullshit. Your post was believable up until the mace/pepper spray comment. You and I both know that civilians can’t get their hands on that stuff. Should have said bear spray. FAIL. :stuck_out_tongue:

I have this contact in cop supply…

in Ca you can if you take a class and get the license!

Regular biathlon, or marketing…?

One of which is you can use pepper spray to protect yourself from a bear, but not from a thug with a tire iron and a knife.

You just can’t make stuff like that up! *eh?! *

All he wants is a coupl’a bucks for a beer and some poutine…

I thought you already had one, what happened?

If by Ca you mean California, I’ve been buying pepper spray and mace over the counter for years and never had to take a class or get a license. When did this happen?

Have you ever seen the pepper napalm? It looks like pink bubble gum and sticks to you.

But, David, in more than a few parts of the country, you stand a better chance of running into a Bear than being mugged!
