New Balance did this a few years ago with the 765. I wore through three pairs of 765’s in two years and went to get them replaced. Gone. The 766 was a hunk of crap (IMO). Managed to get through IMLP in them though.
Now I run Asics, and while the GT-2110 is no longer, the GT-2120 feels identical.
I feel your pain but check out the Landreth, lighter cheaper better. Now I am happy they made the switch
And that’s so funny, because I loved the NB 766, and hate my NB 767s. I guess we love what we get used to?

I think we should take up a collection and if someone races an Oly Distance race in these and cut-off shorts, and with the new shirt rule - a sleeveless cowboy shirt ala Billy Ray Cyrus, and places top three in their age group they take the pot. You must prove it with a race and award photo.

I was getting desparate as I have only a few pairs of Glycerin 2s left and I am a 5 pairs/year guy.
Previously I bought from Road Runner, Kellys Running Warehouse, Shoebuy, Zappos, and of course a local running store. You definitely have to check all the sites to find the best price, especially for discontinued shoes.
