Nice hat though. I am not nearly worthy enough to wear a hat with that written on it. Poseur on the other hand…I could pull of easily. Still mulling it over. Which material version did you get SAC?

Smartass Coach is wearing a hat in “charcoal” which is an alpine fleece that you can wear all through winter and most of spring. If you like technical fabrics that are light weight and wicking, I recommend the Polarfleece in 100 or 200 weight (200 is heavier and would be better for really cold climates).
If you don’t see a color you want, I enjoy visiting my local fabric store almost as much as I enjoy training, so please feel free to request a forest green or electric blue if you need it.

I used to spend more time chatting up my tri buddies at the pool than I did swimming. Since the triclub is swimming at 6am now and there’s mostly a bunch of geeky looking dudes in the club, I’m done with that scene.
Hey, if you want to give me a place to crash in Kona, then I’ll give you a place to crash in Oregon where fleece hats go well with the climate most months. There’s some great riding here, and trails, and… lovely chilly weather in the winter!
