Having read the thread on “poor race conduct”, I am not longer certain I envy you all the races, the local tri shop, bike fiter and every thing else.
Maybe it is not so bad being in Norway after all, with four or five triathlons every year, no tri shop at all and our little club of 70 triathleetes being the bigest. At least I have never heard about any of our volounteers being yelled at and even though we are beginners with our events and a lot of things are sorted out as we go along, criticism is allways presented in a package of “thank you” and “I liked your race, but…”. Maybe the result of being a small community? Of having so little to choose from that you can’t afford to be too picky? Maybe we are closer to the original spirit here?
