during my 3 hour ride it suddenly happened - the left crank broke. So I called PC and they told me to ship it back to them - they will fix it.

Would have been “better” if it hadn’t broken at all but at least everything if fixable. And, the other positive thing is, at least, now you can ride back those many miles pedaling one legged.

The point is though: They got back to me instantaneously with a repair order and are providing excellent customer service.

We have come to learn some of you folks become addicted to these things. When a pair breaks we get these desperation phone calls as to how fast we can turn them around. Most of the time people are back on them in less than a week. We are sort of like the cigarette companies, we will do whatever we can to keep you addicted.
