I’ve said it before, my dad is a huge Limbaugh fan and seems to be OK at least with Trump. He’s always been pro vaccine. He thinks people on both sides are absolute nutters who don’t do it. You’ve got your liberal hippies and your conservative conspiracy theorists not doing it…he chides them both equally. Which surprises me because he can’t stand liberals.

Now how effective will his campaigning pulpit pronouncement be? Has he already caused a tuning out such that if he says it’s true, then some (most?) automatically disregard or reject it outright? The conundrum baggage that comes with his lies and polarizing leadership. Right or wrong, fact or fiction, the sky is or is not falling— this man has little, and lessening, credibility in whatever he says. That is some Catch 22 there.
If he stays consistently truthful and for good measure throws in some admission commentary as to maybe what he has said to the contrary was a bit of bluster and hype to serve his personal illness of narcissism, then maybe I could use it as a vaccine to cure my TDS. My hope of all hopes.

But there are still times when it should be applauded. I don’t like that we’re at the point where a politician changing his or her mind based on new information, changed circumstances, further reflection, or even political expediency is automatically seen as a bad thing to be attacked.
