I am irate

Have a look at this and kindly let me know if you think it is too harsh / soft a response:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

As requested in my telephone call today with your sales team, please cancel my order.

Any items you have dispatched shall be returned unopened.

My credit card issuers note a payment of £328.06 was taken from my account on 30th April and credited to yours on 3rd May. I find this very unusual seeing as no items have arrived to date. I would like this refunded immediately and confirmation by telephone on ************. Failure to do so will result in me placing the matter with my credit card issuers who will proceed as they see fit.

My original order for a pair of wheels, some shoes, a cassette and some tools was placed almost four weeks ago. After having heard nothing for a week I telephoned to be told you had no Record Hubs. I was told you had Chorus in stock and I said they would be fine. I also requested that the smaller items be sent to me in the meantime.

I phoned a week or so later to check on the order and was told you couldn’t get any Campy hubs at all. I said I’d wait and requested the smaller items be sent, again.

I phoned yesterday to see how things were going, was put on hold then told I would be called back in ten minutes.

I called again an hour later to be told that whoever had spoken to me was on a break and would call me back.

I neither heard from or received anything from you this morning, so I called this morning to cancel my order.

I think I’ve been pretty reasonable and hope that this has been an isolated incident for the sake of your business. I decided to send you a small order as your prices seemed quite competitive in relation to the other suppliers I have been using. Although the £5,000-£10,000 I spend on bicycle components per year may not impact your bottom line, I’m sure it would’ve helped. I understand the parts may not be available but expect to be informed of this. Also, I expect to be called back when I’m told I will be. Your customer service sucks.

I hope this receives your attention as I would like things resolved ASAP.
