Hydrotail = Superb customer service

Well, I purchased a hydrotail a month or so ago and have been quite happy with it. I really love how the bottles sit a bit lower and away from the saddle - especially helpfull on big descent in terms of getting aero on the bike…some other cages just seem to get in the way as I would scoot back and down on the saddle. Anyhow, all was going well untill a ride last week when one of the plastic mounting brackets broke away…so, I began to research a bit and just couldn’t find any replacement brackets to purchase. So, I did some more research to find that the hydrotail is made by beakerconcepts and so therefore I sent along an email with my request for help.

Not more than 30minutes later did I get a response with a name and phone number stating that I should just send along my address and new brackets would be put in the mail. I called the company and spoke with Andrew thanking him and giving my address aswell. Not more than four days later and my new brackets with screws/nuts arrived - totally redesigned with machined threaded inserts in the bracket that allows for much better support of the hydrotail. What phenominal customer service at beakerconcepts.com - I just wanted to share my good experience and to let you know that the company is just as outstanding as the product.

I am another satisfied customer. One of my mounting brackets broke. I emailed Beaker this morning. Within a couple of hours Andrew emailed me back and new brackets will be sent out today. Really nice to see a company that stands behind its product and deals with customers promptly and in the right manner. Thanks Andrew!

I’m glad to hear that you have all had good support from them. I sent an email to them on June 14th and haven’t heard a peep back. Both platics U-brackets for my Hydrotail have stripped threads.

After reading this thread, I just sent another message. Hopefully I will hear back from them tomorrow. Otherwise, I’ll end up drilling clearance holes through the plastic brackets and using nuts with some longer fasteners and some loctite.

Chalk one up for the Net… My first message never made it to them. Andrew replied to my second message this morning and is sending replacement brackets. Nice.
