So, I recently purchased a hydrotail, since my previous rear hydration was an absolute failure. My question is: how am I supposed to mount this thing? Should it be on the outsides or insides of the seat rails?
I want to say it should go on the outside of the rails, but I’m not sure. I ride an Adamo, which has pretty wide rails, and it seems like I would have to spread it pretty far to get it on that way, and I don’t want to break the thing.
I have an Adamo and I was able to mount it with little problem. It does go on the outside of the rails and you just have to attach one side of it before spreading it enough to get the other side on there. I think it would take a lot more to break it.
FWIW i did right the opposite of the other poster. mine worked better putting it on the inside with the brackets on the outside. its tight and works fine, had it for two years.
