I have a size 48 P2-SL Cervelo with a ISM adamo seat. For some reason, the neverreach hydration system and the speedfill system will not work with what I have…any other options out there for my problem other than rear water cages and a camel back?

Any particular reason that you are avoiding the aerobar mounted options (i.e. PD Aerodrink, Aquacell, std. bottle, etc.)?

I have the aero bottle. I was just hoping for something that held more liquid.

I am curious: Why won’t the Speedfil system work? Seems like there should be plenty of room for it.

P2sl does not have downtube bottle cage brazes. Speedfil only works on the downtube.

none, if you haven’t lost your mind about hydration

I think a lot of things “can be done”. I’m mostly interested in doing them more easily, particularly during something like an ironman. No bottle is ever going to be as easy as having a tube right there next to your mouth. It’s much easier to drink and drink more often. I guess they assume you’ll have a front-mounted aero-bottle

Still regardless of your choice of hydration, I wonder why they did not put a mount for a bottle there. It’s not like they are selling a P4 here.

It is a good question why they didn’t. they do put the mounts on the P3 SL, so its certainly POSSIBLE (though the P3 SL doesn’t have them on the seat tube)

probably just to save pennies, it is the least expensive offering.

that said, i still think people are slowing themselves down with the tube-ish hydration systems. either the ease of drinking is replaced by the pain of filling them up

or you are carrying a huge heavy load of water the whole time.
