Doesn’t the helmet need to go in their bin? Butterfield just dumped hers on the ground.

It would suck to be penalized over that one.

That’s an itu rule as far as I know they didn’t incorporate it into the etc.

Is Jorgenson that bad on the bike (relatively speaking for an Olympian), or did she have a problem…seems weird that she’d come off the bike behind Ironman pros
.

I was thinking the same thing… dunno. This is fun to watch though - I hope rinny kills it.

She just made up 20 sec on the first run lap. Can’t wait to hear how much she cuts into lap 2. Considering how much she closed on the last bike loop she seems to be gunning for the big overall cash prize and non of the primes.

She’s not doing too bad so far, but it sounds like she might run out of road

Sounds like she’s in 3rd now… This is gonna be a heck of a finish.

Man I wish they had a constant camera on the leaders! Rinny is ripp’n it up.

Do you have a split from Carfrae up to Haskins…I thought I heard Welchy say 29 seconds? 5K to go? I’d love for Carfrae to take this

This is very exciting. How come the olympics were set up ITU and not non-drafting?! Find out who truly is the best across all 3 disciplines.

Haskins, Norden, Carfrae in the same picture now…game over…

Rinny is FLYING!!!

Wow. Did they say she took 10 seconds out in 1.25 km?

sigh, you obviously are new to the sport and don’t realize that they tried non drafting for a long time.

Sprint finish like Whitefield+Frodano+Gomez?

Carfrae passes Haskins and Norden 30 m up!

Who says non-draft legal oly distance racing isn’t exciting? This womens race is tight!

That was close. Great effort from Rinny!!

After what Carfrae just did, it’s going to be really exciting to see what she does again next week in Vegas!

Wow - what a great race! Great coverage! Hats off the Hy Vee for putting up the prize money and supporting our sport of triathlon. Can not wait to watch the men!

Well, that was a hell of a race. Can’t wait for the men up next.

Who is everyone picking? I’d love to see Potts win it and I think he has a great chance given the way he’s been racing this year. If this race is anything like the Philly Tri earlier this year it’ll be just as exciting but with a lot more money up for grabs.

I’m also curious to see how McCormack’s OD distance season positions him in this race.

Ok, gonna take a break and re-charge the lap top.
