Hi
The day i do a long race or workout(3-4hrs) i often get extremely hungary and it doesnt seem to go when i eat should i just keep eating till i am fill is this normal. I am not trying to lose weight so i am look to not have a Kcal defect
Cheers Andy
Do some push ups, push up from the table. Its pefectly normal to be hungryafter your work out and the next day. As you are heavier now your body needs more energy. As you lose more weight your body will be less hungry and burn the fuel more efficently. If you want to lose more weight stay in the cardio zone longer and do not go anerobic. By staying in the cardio zone your body is using its fat reserves. I always start that way but end up going anerobic. I love going fast! Good luck hope this helps out a little
You maybe are not eating enough right after the workout…dont go nuts but be sure to have something with protein and carbs right after…also possible you not eating enough during the workout too. I had issues with this, being starving the next day and when I kept track of what I was taking in the day before I saw it was lacking.
Thanks but i speficly said i dont want to lsoe weight as my BF% is about 5-7% so i dont think it would be healthy

There is not necessarily a correlation between how many calories your body needs and how many you can fit in your stomach at any given time. What I mean by this is just because you can eat what you believe to be the number of calories you spent, it does not mean that your body can use them at that point in time. They may be stored as fat, or they may simply become waste. Your body will tell you when it needs those calories, and I too find that it is typically a day or two after a significant effort/event.
I used to think “I burned 3000 calories today, I’d better eat them right back up!”, but I’d be starving hungry the day after. Now I simply eat normally and when my stomach tells me its ready, I feed it.
In short, I don’t think there is anything odd about what you experience.
