PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - With a fox locked onto her arm, an Arizona jogger ran a mile to her car, where she was able to dislodge the animal, throw it into the trunk and drive to a Prescott hospital. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said the fox, which later attacked an animal control officer, tested positive for rabies.

Only a woman could be crazy/hardcore enough to pull that off. A man would have done the sensible thing and beat the Fox to death first.
True. But, she did keep the animal, and now comes the fun series of shots in the stomach for rabies treatment…
My wife had the rabies vaccination 2 years ago when bit by a stray cat that we could never relocate. They were in her arm I believe and she said they didn’t hurt. It was an inconvenience (a series of 4 I think). I recall it being pretty expensive. Our insurance covered that vast majority of it, but it struck me that you were talking some pretty big bucks if you weren’t insured.
