During the expo in Lake Placid, we could post a message that would be display on mile 8 and mile 21, whenever we cross the ford timing mat…
I had written ‘Harden the fuck up…’, well both times I went thru it never displayed… I guess these words are banned or maybe Paulo has the copyrights and wouldn’t allow someone outside is Team to use them in a Triathlon.
This is the main reason I had such a bad race, I was really looking forward for this message… 
either that or someone else entered the wrong race number for their participant, which happened to me at Moo, my message was “Go, Dad, Go! Love C.”
I don’t have any kids that I know of.
Both times I cross the mat no message was displayed…for my number! My best guess is they put a filter to cover up some words like f*ck, etc.
Hey Alex. Maybe it wasn’t that. The messages people left for me didn’t make any sense at all. Just random letters. How’d your race go by the way?
They most likely do some screening… or their software is messed up.
The message I saw was not what my familly had written down.

Not this race, but at another one my wife had written
“no finish = no sex!”
I got a good laugh out of that.
And maybe a little bit of a chubby. 
I wrote it on my sign, very little at the bolttom

Hi Scott, worst ever finish in IMLP don’t want to write a RR with any excuses because I well get banned from here ST… Looking forward to move on and hopefully stop the “hemorrhage” that I’m having the past times I have been there…I’m just getting slower every time I go back racing.
