HR Zones and race pacing

After a few races and a bunch of good long runs I finally have a feeling for my Anerobic (Ant) HR and Aerobic (Aet) heart rate. Just curious now how these would apply to the road races I have planned. I am marathon training and have a few races coming up. I have a 5 miler, a 15k, and the marathon.

How does knowing these zones effect your pacing, in the past I just ran by feel. But should I try to keep under my anerobic threshold when running a 10k or half marathon?

Do you try to hold your aerobic zone when running a marathon, and throw all the HR stuff out the window when running a 5k?

Curious how knowing these zones effect how you pace yourself in a race.

I go very anerobic in a 5k now that my fitness is up. Though my best is only in the 20 min. range. i have a book Precision HR training by Edmund R. Burke it is a good read. For a 15 k and mary dont think I would go anerobic unless I knew I could finish them that way. Starting to work up to it on a 10k. I can stay in the 170-175 BPM fror the whole time. I go anerobic around 155 BPM. My highest 5k HR average is 192 with a peak HR of 205 BPM.
