I keep a log of everything I put in my mouth solid and liquid. Calories, fat calories, protein, etc. I’m doing pretty good but I’m f#&*ing hungry and I have 2 weeks left. Somehow I’ve got to cut out the coffee on Sunday. Not quite sure that’s going to happen. Right now I just don’t see it. Plus I’ve got a cricket in my office cabinet. It’s been croaking all day because it’s dark in the cabinet. And I can’t find it. AAAAHHHHHH.
I made the mistake of buying some Cajun Trail mix. I’ve got it in my desk drawer and that stuff is like crack. I’m gonna have to take it home and lock it away. Weight tends to creep up on me pretty quick so I’m going to have to really watch myself these next two weeks. Like you, I’m hungry a lot.
At the moment, my diet has not changed too much. I’m still on the “everything I can reach” diet because I’m hungry all the time too. The key for me, since I have no willpower, is to keep food that isn’t absolutely horrible for me within reach. I think that I am on approximately day 90 of my ice cream diet. By the way, that means 90 days in a row with ice cream! What good is all the pain without some pleasure?
My diet really has no change except no liquor between now and whenever I cross the finish line and only limited beer intake. I have a wedding to go to this weekend and a bachelor party weekend so I will go dry starting the Sunday before the race which worked out pretty good for me and my last.
Dude,
I’ve had like three beers total since Jan. My wine cabinet has a thin layer of dust. It was hard to cut that out. But necessary. Can’t wait to pop my first bottle afterwards. I’d be toast if I had a wedding and a bachelor party to go to. Good luck. I’m seriously trying to get out of a birthday party this weekend. Wish me luck.
Get rid of it.
I have limited my beer intake a lot more this time around than last time when I was in college. I remember being at a party at 1:00 am the weekend before IMFL and someone coming up and asking me when my IM was and having a sip of my drink and saying “6 days” but I was more worried about being up for work at 5:45 which was only a few hours away. I ended up exceeding my expectations I had set for my first time by about 15 minutes.
