How's your college football team doing? (plus the latest playoff rankings)

The season is coming to an end, and we got our second playoff rankings. Here’s the top 10:

  1. Mississippi St.
  2. Florida St.
  3. Auburn
  4. Oregon
  5. Alabama
  6. TCU
  7. Kansas St.
  8. Michigan St.
  9. Arizona St.
  10. Notre Dame

How’s your team doing? In the top 10? Should be? Never ever ever?

How’s my team doing? F_ck you, that’s how!

Big 10 sucks … I am bandwagoning Miss State.

Wait, you’re not a Badgers fan???

Ask me about it around midnight on Saturday.

Completely geeked for Saturday. Iceman Cometh challenge MTB race in the morning and then making a beeline for East Lansing for a little tailgating and the game.

I’m a Terps fan, what do I want the Spartans to do Saturday? Win so you look past us? Lose so you are mentally defeated?

I’m going with win.

Sparty On!

U of WA Huskies, meh, likely will end up in a 2nd tier bowl and maybe sniff the top 25 by years end.

Wait, you’re not a Badgers fan???

Uhm … yeah. Thus my outrage. Big 10 sucks this year and doesn’t deserve a spot in the playoffs. I’m tired of it and want to see the power restored to the conference. Also want a fucking QB for my Badgers!

Well, as a Terp fan, you guys can just SUCK IT!

I don’t think the B1G is as bad as you say. If MSU didn’t schedule Oregon than they’d be in the top 4 right now. They should have just played another crap team from Michigan. Instead, they tested themselves, and the playoff committee is penalizing them.

If you guys hadn’t screwed up against NW then things would be fine.

You still living out there? How are people/fans viewing Mike Leach?

Well, as a Terp fan,

So, I guess you and I will never be shaking hands …

I think in true mid-Western B1G tradition we’d have to shake hands.

I have no animosity towards the Badgers. We played like crap, you out game planned us, and you smoked us. If WE had a better quarterback then a lot of our ills would be solved.

BTW, you’re “welcome” for Danny O’Brien. Wait, maybe we will never shake hands…

I was referring to this.

The Big Ten Conference on Monday issued a public reprimand to Maryland coach Randy Edsall and suspended star wide receiver Stefon Diggs one game for the Terrapins’ actions before kickoff of Saturday’s game against Penn State, which began with a skirmish and continued with Maryland captains refusing to shake the hands of their Penn State counterparts following the coin toss.

Ha, gotcha.

Just don’t come running through our team before the game (which PSU did) and pick a fight with us, and we’ll be fine.

PSU is giving us the “you’re not our rivals” treatment (we’ve only ever beaten them twice in I believe 38 attempts), which makes sense. But we HATE them.

Might have the worst OL in the country, very few playmakers on O, our star QB has regressed from last year, and the defense has underwhelmed…somehow we are still 7-2 and ranked #18. I wouldn’t be shocked if we lost 2 of the last 3 and finished unranked.

Not looking forward to next year when Hundley leaves, he’s the entire offense and there isn’t anybody to replace him.

Man, I had to go look at all 4 polls to figure out what team you might be rooting for! When I saw my 3 options I figured UCLA, but had to click over to the roster.

I’m guessing Neuheisel isn’t very good? His numbers are good for a Sophomore.

As “down” as the B1G is, they’ve averaged 4 teams in the final top 25 poll the last 5 seasons. Yes I was equally as surprised.

Kansas State Wildcats

EMAW!!! We are going to have to win out to get in. Tough schedule ahead @TCU, @West Virginia, @Baylor, vs KU.

Neuheisel is a nice kid and shocked the world with his good game against Texas, but he isn’t a D1 QB. Pretty sure he did not have a single D1 offer that wasn’t from dad. Asianti Woulard is the guy people were counting on, very talented but he just has not learned to play at this level. Incoming freshman Josh Rosen will highly likely be our starter next year; he’s one of the top recruits in the country, but a true freshman nonetheless.

Mississippi State grad here. I like our chances, but we got to get past next week (play @ Alabama).
