The Jewish did have a “couple” of guns. E.g. the Bielski partisans, Baum group, and others. What they lacked was a professional army and ownership of the means of production. We know what it took to defeat the Nazis now, and that was the combined industrial might of Russia, America, and Europe.

That’s why when Israel was created they created a real army/defense force and means of production. We got the Uzi!

Sounds like Stern wants a well-armed Antifa, though. :slight_smile:

What’s the point? The “Nazi gun control argument” is a pretty well established debate by now. I’m not sure Stern is really well-versed in the argument beyond the meme level.

I mean I know Howard Stern has a lot of time to fill on air, but he really should have just said, “I don’t know history.” As others have said, the jews in Germany did have a few guns, in addition to the people in the countries that the Germans invaded.

But, he doesn’t even know American history. Did the 2nd Amendment stop the US government putting the Japanese American citizens from having their property taken and being put in fucking camps? If the 2nd Amendment can’t stop that, what are people expecting it to stop? I mean, the government was literally rounding up citizens and shipping them off to camps. What about slavery? Did the 2nd amendment stop the goverment allowing people to fucking enslave other people? The fact is that the 2nd Amendment is not going to stop government over reach.

People have this jerk off fantasy that having guns will stop a tyrannical government, but it is just a fantasy pushed by people that just want to sell more guns.
