Hope this hasn’t already been covered. I wear my Livestrong wristband with the letters facing outward or toward the fingers so those who are battling and surviving cancer can read it. I think those of us in the support role should wear it this way. Those who are battling and surviving cancer should wear it with Livestrong facing them.
The main reason I’m wearing my Livestrong wristband is that my close friend is battling prostate cancer and I will not take it off until he is cancer-free.
A long time client of mine passed away on July 5th. It was due to complications with a hip replacement. He was a huge fan of cycling and lance. His son told me that they put a band on him when he was buried last week. It was a testimonial that he “Lived Strong” and accomplished a lot in his lifetime.
I wear mine facing out so others can read the words and be educated about the fundraiser.
Honey Bunny, who is overcoming serious health issues, wears one on each wrist, words facing him so he can read them and be reminded to Live Strong.
