How to speed up my metabolism?

Trying to lose lbs to get my racing weight. Seems like every year it gets harder.

Besides having a negative caloric intake and working out more often, what are some ways to increase my metabolism?

It’s like crack, but lasts a lot longer. Highly addictive stuff. Users lose a lot of weight and will stay awake for days at a time. But if used in moderation, I’ll bet you can shave several minutes off your 40k TT best.

I refuse to do anything unless it’s in excess.

the best way to raise your metabolism is to do super heavy bench press and squat, but this would not be good for overall tri-performance. Doing endurance sports, makes you body more efficient, and lowers you base metabolic rate. Pills will hurt you more than they will help your tri-efforts. Just be really careful about what you eat, and view food as something functional, rather than as a leisure activity.

Should I snort the coke with lime or the original? Should I first defizz it? cause otherwise I think it will tickle my nose.

Ephedra is legal again. Watch out if you go the coke, crack, or crank route as those substances tend to cause paranoid delusions and attract tiny men in blue uniforms.

Just a technical clarification…negative caloric intake DOES NOT increase metabolism, in fact it lowers it over time. Not only increase exercise time will help but perhaps breaking workouts over the course of a day may help keep the metabolism reved up all day.

Smaller meals throughout the course of the day helps keep the metabolism going as well.

I’m now up to three times per day. Later this week when my girlfriend comes over for the weekend I’m going to increase the frequency to 4 times per day. I think having someone else present will actully help me burn more calories.

if you can get it get a good source of ephedra. after all the crap and hype and scare stories if you regulate it down to one pill a day before hard exercise it will help you loose weight and keep it off. However it will also make you feel crappy and tense and go through wierd stages of feeling wacked out. but it will definately make you loose the weight.

Move to a hot climate, or
Get in the weight room for strength training &
Get enough sleep.

You might want to try increasing the duration or adding a second girlfriend for when the other one needs a break.
